Vita

Since October 2012, research associate in the research project "Mediatized Everyday Worlds of Translocal Communitization: The Communicative Networking and Mediated Communitization of Elderly Persons in Comparison with other Media Generations" (Priority programme 1505 "Mediatized Worlds“, the second funding phase). Previously, she also worked as part of the priority program (first funding period 2010 to 2012) for communicative networking and media-mediated formation of community of ‘digital natives'. Besides this activity, Cindy Roitsch is working on her doctoral dissertation "Communicative demarcation: patterns of communicative demarcating in a media generations comparison". Between October 2008 and December 2010 Cindy Roitsch studied at the University of Bremen on the Master’s program Media Culture. She also completed the Bachelor program "Professional Journalism" at the University of Applied Sciences Bremen.
